Walgreens Diabetes & You Magazine Wins National Health Information Awards' Top Honor

DEERFIELD, Ill., Oct. 12, 2011 - Walgreens (NYSE: WAG) (NASDAQ: WAG) Diabetes & You, the free, quarterly diabetes magazine available exclusively at Walgreens pharmacies nationwide, has been awarded the National Health Information Awards’ top honor for consumer health information programs and materials. The fall 2010 issue of Walgreens Diabetes & You received the Gold Award and the holiday 2010/winter 2011 issue was granted a Silver Award. Now in its 18th year, the National Health Information Awards program recognizes the nation’s best consumer health materials and programs.
