The recent U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) announcement regarding the Phase 2 administration of COVID vaccines reinforces the critical role pharmacies play in supporting the health and well-being of communities across the nation. Since the onset of the pandemic, Walgreens has worked closely with the Center for Disease Control (CDC), the HHS and the Administration to advance COVID testing and protect the health and safety of our customers and team members. As part of Operation Warp Speed, we were among the first pharmacies designated for the anticipated administration of COVID vaccines to long-term care facilities.
