Walgreens Administers First Doses of COVID-19 Vaccines in Over 75 Percent of Long-Term Care Facilities

Walgreens has provided more than 1.75 million COVID-19 vaccinations across long-term care facilities and other vulnerable populations identified as part of state and local jurisdiction distribution plans. Additionally, the company has completed first dose vaccinations in more than 75 percent of long-term care facilities that selected Walgreens as their vaccine provider and remains on track to complete remaining first doses by mid-February.

Walgreens Will Complete the Administration of COVID-19 First Doses in Assisted Living Facilities by Mid-February

Walgreens has provided more than 1.3 million COVID-19 vaccinations across long-term care facilities and other vulnerable populations identified as part of state and local jurisdiction distribution plans. The company completed the administration of COVID-19 vaccine first doses in skilled nursing facilities on Monday, Jan. 25 and will complete first dose vaccinations in assisted living and other long-term care facilities that selected Walgreens as their vaccine provider by mid-February.
