Today, we’re excited to provide customers with access to more than 25,000 items including over-the-counter medications (OTC), beauty, personal care, household and convenience products on the Shipt marketplace.
 
Customers can find nearly the entire Walgreens assortment on Shipt’s marketplace for on-demand delivery, right to their doorstep. The service is available from more than 6,300 Walgreens for people leading busy lives who want to begin prioritizing their personal wellness.

To learn more about this new collaboration, we chatted with Rina Hurst, Chief Business Officer of Shipt who is responsible for sparking connections by delivering new and innovative relationships and building creative strategies alongside collaborators like Walgreens.
 
Tell us a bit about Shipt – how can customers order from your marketplace, what can they expect to find from Walgreens, how long does delivery take? 
 
Shipt brings the store to your door with a curated marketplace of retailers from a variety of industries. Through a community of Shipt Shoppers and a convenient app, Shipt provides a personal shopping and delivery experience to 80% of households in more than 5,000 cities nationwide.
 
Customers can access Walgreens by searching Shipt.com/Walgreens on their desktop or by searching for the Walgreens storefront on the Shipt app. Customers can now shop more than 25,000 products, from beauty to household essentials that are then delivered in as soon as an hour.
 
What made you excited about the Walgreens and Shipt collaboration?
 
Walgreens is such a powerhouse brand that really complements our marketplace. Our customers use Shipt because they’re seeking convenience. Whether you’re home with the flu or you’ve found yourself suddenly out of paper towels, Walgreens has it all and Shipt Shoppers are ready and available to deliver in a timely manner. Together, we’re making the lives of our customers a little bit easier.
 
Shipt places a strong emphasis on delivering personal shopping, tell us more about that and why it makes Shipt so unique?
 
Our Shipt Shoppers are the secret sauce. They’re a huge differentiator for us as a people-first company. I have two young kids, so we are regular Walgreens customers for everything - Tylenol, Band-Aids, snacks and my favorite mascara.
