10 March 2010 Take Care Clinics at Select Walgreens Offer Families Convenient and Affordable Option for Camp and Sports Physicals CONSHOHOCKEN, Pa., March 10, 2010 - As kids and teens gear up for spring sports and summer camp, parents need to make sure their children have received any required screenings. Take Care Health Systems, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Walgreens (NYSE: WAG)(NASDAQ: WAG) and the largest and most comprehensive provider of convenient care clinics and worksite health and wellness centers in the country, is now offering camp and sports physicals at Take Care Clinics, located at nearly 360 Walgreens drugstores throughout the country. The physicals, available for $35 through the end of September, are administered by board certified nurse practitioners and, in select markets, physician assistants. |

12 February 2010 Walgreens Pharmacies Remain in Washington Medicaid Program; Talks Continue with State of Washington DEERFIELD, Ill., February 12, 2010 - Walgreens (NYSE: WAG)(NASDAQ: WAG) will continue filling Medicaid prescriptions at its Washington state pharmacies through March 15. The company, which operates 121 pharmacies in Washington, announced on Jan. 13 it would stop filling Medicaid prescriptions in 64 of its stores because of continued reduction in reimbursement under the State of Washington Medicaid program. The decision to delay the withdrawal from the program comes as constructive talks continue between the state and the company. |
